Year 4 Eleven Plus
Exams Tuition

Our Year 4 course covers English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning and will help promote and solidify core skills in numeracy, literacy, vocabulary and reading comprehension, so that students have a solid foundation for entry to Year 5 and thereby reduce the stress and the burden of preparation during Year 5.

We cover the National Curriculum at KS2 for maths and English and work beyond to a higher standard. Most students will notice that their attainment levels at school start to improve and they should grow in confidence.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All students have access to our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) , which contains all their course resources and homework. Access to the VLE is only available whilst the student remains on the course. Your child will not be able to access any of the resources once they have left the course.

Admission Criteria

Our courses are challenging and prepare children for the most competitive London schools. Students should have a solid foundation in the Year 3 English and Maths curriculum.
All students for the in-person course must sit our Admissions Test to determine the suitability of our course to meet their learning needs. New students must be of a similar level to our existing students. This ensures students do not feel out of place and lose confidence. It also ensures all students in the class have a baseline level, enabling optimal delivery of the lesson by our teachers.
Students for the online course do not sit the Admissions Test as the online format allows students to revisit the lesson tutorial to ensure understanding. This allows students of varying levels to follow the course with parental guidance and without formal screening.
Admissions Assessments will usually be held in April and May of Year 3.

Reservation

A Reservation Fee of £250 is required to confirm a place. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation but otherwise credited against the Year 4 fees.
