We were delighted to attend the Education Resources Awards 2026 on April 23rd, a standout event in the education calendar that brings together some of the most dedicated and forward-thinking organisations in the sector.
This year’s event was held at the sold-out National Conference Centre and brought together leading voices from across the sector for an evening of celebration and inspiration. The event was hosted by actor Shaun Williamson, who guided the ceremony with warmth and humour.
We were proud finalists in two categories.
Our publication, First Past the Post: 11+ Essentials – Creative Writing Examples Book 1, was shortlisted for the Educational Book Award, highlighting its value in helping students build confidence and creativity in their writing.
Our Creative Writing Examples series has been praised as a practical educational resource that supports both pupils and teachers in mastering one of the most challenging elements of the 11+ and Common Entrance exams. It combines authentic examples of successful, peer-written creative writing passages, clear assessment guidance and structured practice in order to transform creative writing from a source of anxiety into a teachable, learnable skill.
In addition, our CEO, Ilesh Kotecha, was recognised as a finalist in the Leadership in Education category. This acknowledgement speaks to the vision and passion that Ilesh brings to Eleven Plus Exams every day, celebrating his dedication to both student success and innovation in the tuition sector.
Being named finalists reflects the real-world impact of Eleven Plus Exams’ resources, from supporting students on their 11+ journey to equipping educators with tools that make a difference in the classroom.
